Marriage settlement between Robert Dod of Yeardley (Worcs.) , esq., and Charles Dod his son and heir, of the first part; Robert Lee of Binfield (Berks.), esq., of the second part; and Robert Thorpe of Nothlic (Oxon.), gentleman, and John Corbinson of Bickonell (Warwics.), gentleman, of the third part: being a marriage settlement on Charles Dod and Katherine his wife, daughter of Robert Lee; witnessing that a jointure has been made to Katherine in the sum of £1500 to be paid by Robert Lee to Robert Dod and Charles Dod, and after making provision for Robert Dod for his life of lands and manors in Staffordshire, the manors of Cloverly and Calverhall with land, pastures, etc., in Priestes, Cloverly, Moretonsea, Eddesley, Hinton, Franckton Anglicam, Lyneall, Monyley, Burleton, Whixall alias Quicksall, Woodland, Little Drayton, Pickesley, Childesarcall, Atton, Westonwick alias Wistoneswick, and Allerton, are entailed upon Charles and Katherine and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder in default of issue to the right heirs of Charles. And that the said fine or fines from the above should be to the use of Robert Thorpe and John Corbinson.
